Olivia Veterinary Technician

Olivia earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and underwent veterinary assistant training at Mizzou Vet School. She has had a passion for veterinary medicine for as long as she can remember. In college, she started working in the small animal ICU at Mizzou, and that’s when she knew she was on the right career path. So far, the most rewarding part about working in vet med has been taking care of critical patients in the ICU and rehabilitating them back to full health. She always enjoys seeing pets leave healthier than when they arrived. Olivia has a German Shepherd named Nova, who she enjoys training in her spare time. She also loves photography, hiking, and nature.
