Jim Kennel Manager/Technician

Jim’s dedication to helping sick pets become well and getting to know our clients make him a valuable asset to our team, and an exceptional kennel manager. Jim is especially skilled at positioning for blood draws, helping to make the experience as quick and painless as possible for patients. One of his most memorable experiences in the veterinary field is getting to assist a doctor in performing surgery on a tiger (tigers are his favorite animal). His favorite part about working at our practice is the flexibility it affords for home/work life. Jim is married to his wife of 30+ years, Hope, and they share their home with a Lab/Chow mix named Rascal. His proudest accomplishments include being married for over 30 years and opening up his own pet sitting business. When he’s not helping us out, Jim enjoys traveling up to Wisconsin, ATVing, and observing wildlife. His favorite destinations so far are Alaska and Ireland.
